We collaborated with a P&E startup to design and implement AI-enhanced motor inspection reports, significantly improving accuracy and consistency in the drilling process.

Turnco aimed to revolutionize motor inspection reporting, enabling companies to make smarter decisions with more accurate data that reflects real drilling conditions. AI-Fit™ emerged as the solution to achieve this transformation.
The Transformation
Arionkoders’s ML experts and backend engineers refined and optimized an existing ML model, meticulously reviewing the datasets and ML workflows, documenting selected features and integrating new pipelines to include new feedback from the app as model input.
Our product team streamlined the process for motor inspectors, adding guiding details to help them input more reliable data. Our frontend team also boosted visual clarity by creating a high-performance UI and integrating existing chart libraries with custom components to deliver an exponentially better user experience.

Laying the groundwork for a deeper understanding
AI-Fit™ had a functioning ML model but faced challenges due to missing documentation and overlooked input details that directly impacted its recommendations. To address this, we combined our design and AI expertise in an in-depth discovery workshop to create a more robust, user-centered solution.
The outcome was a refined ML model that combined manual measurements with data backed by a vast dataset of over a decade of scientific field research. This comprehensive input dramatically improved accuracy, delivering precise recommendations in 95% of cases and significantly enhancing the reliability of motor inspections.

Adding visual clarity
Our design team proposed custom icons to represent each possible rotor-stator combination. This made recognizing each report easier at a glance. It also made the input screens clearer for inspectors, helping them throughout the report generation process.
Improving input reliability through upgraded UX
The inspection data is the primary input for the enhanced machine learning model that generates recommendations. Therefore, it is crucial to collect and enter this data accurately. The design of the motor measurement screen went through multiple revisions to ensure it is intuitive for inspectors and easy to complete.
Creating a shared library of UI components
AI-Fit™ is part of a suite of products. Arionkoder created a sharable library of UI components to reduce errors, maintain consistency, and cut down on UI maintenance. We used Storybook to isolate and document each shared UI component and included this library in both projects.

During our process we performed over 5 iterations of the Home section, always looking to serve Live Chair Health customers in a way that also serves the project's business needs.
Continuous Discovery is easy when there is direct access to customers and their feedback. We made the most of it.
Some of the iterations were built just as Figma rapid prototypes, some of them were part of the Progressive Web App. From all of them we learned important lessons that enabled us to move fast in the right direction.
