The Covid-19 pandemic caught the world off guard. Genia, a state-of-the-art molecular biology laboratory present in several Latin American countries, needed to react immediately to this scenario in order to deliver their services quickly and process many tests simultaneously.
At first they booked their tests manually on spreadsheets that often contained wrong information. Genia quickly realized that this process was not sustainable in the midst of the exponential growth of cases, and would not allow them to scale their services.They needed a quick, easy-to-implement management solution with zero downtime, that enabled users to book their testing in their chosen variety: drive-through, walk-through or at-home. That’s when Arionkoder came into play.
Understand to succeed
Our first focus was on analyzing the customer’s journey, as well as assessing the technical requirements that this solution would need. These two aspects became the foundation of what we would build: an integral scheduling solution able to integrate with payment options and supported by a back-office system that processes databases and tally information in compliance with national regulatory requirements.
This solution also meant a better control over resources (both human and material) and optimized management of their workload considering logistics, supplies and distribution times.
We used Low Code tools to develop this solution in only 4 days.
The MVP was launched in only 2 days, while the final version arrived 2 days later, and all of this was accomplished with zero downtime in order to keep systems moving in the midst of a global pandemic.
